This article presents a theoretical and practical conceptualization of an intervention based on the Schema Therapy model and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), applied to a 39-year-old patient who initially sought help due to unemployment and childhood issues affecting his self-esteem. The evaluation process utilized tools such as semi-structured interviews, the DASS-21 questionnaires, Plutchik’s suicide risk scale, Camir-R, BDI, and YSQ, which helped identify the presence of Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) in the patient. The results demonstrate a significant effectiveness of the clinical intervention using both models, reflecting a notable reduction in initial distress, a decrease in symptoms, an increase in the patient's confidence, and the adoption of more adaptive coping strategies. This highlights the positive impact generated by integrating both therapies in the patient’s intervention.
